Ephemeral material of Arthur and Lillian Lasch, residents of New London, Wisconsin concerning their involvement with the Learman-Schaller VFW Post. No. 2732 and its auxiliary. The bulk of materials concern Lillian Lasch and her involvement in the ladies auxiliary. These include a VFW Certificate of Appreciation, a 50th anniversary roster for the auxiliary, and an auxiliary program from 1982. Materials for Arthur Lasch consist of several membership cards, including Veterans of World War I of the USA. Arthur Lasch was a World War I veteran who served in the 309th Ambulance Company, 303rd Sanitary Train, 78th Division. He became a charter member of the Learman-Schaller VFW Post 2732 in New London, Wisconsin when it was founded in 1932, and served as Senior Vice Commander in 1932 and Post Commander from 1933 to 1934. He was also named National Aide-de-Camp in 1955. His wife, Lillian, was a charter member of the VFW Post 2732 Ladies Auxiliary in 1933 and served as its president from 1933 to 1935 and again from 1942 to 1944.
